Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew up in Mexico in a family who was passionate about music. When she was a kid, she listened to a lot of traditional music as well as older boleros. Also, she listened to the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana loves tangos, operas and other dramatic shows. She was taught by her mother to sing, however she started more intense singing lessons with Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. the singer was famous as a Mexican opera tenor. She furthered her training in music at the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. While a student, and as a young professional within Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles and choirs. Following her move into America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her home in the southern part of California. She is currently performing the traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. As a musician and teacher, she is committed to many projects in the community because of her love and enthusiasm for music. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to Inland Master Chorale members for the permission to sing classic Latin American song.
